Laps (Laurent Bovey) and Gregorythme (Gregory Poncet) live in Lausanne and have worked together since 2001.

Many years of anonymous activity between Lausanne and Zürich gave them a real experience as live acts. Step by step, their music found its own way to make people dance: a groovy and abstract minimal techno, more narrative than hypnotic, very precisely built in many dimensions.

In Zürich, they joined the happy Dachkantine family at the beginning of the trip. Their quasi-residency in this club allowed them to play many times on one of the best dance floors in Switzerland. The Street Parade parties 03 & 04, Live 1 & 2 and the Closing Festival are the “high lights” of many gigs in this place.

The Digitaline project got international acclaim with their collaboration with Luciano on Cadenza.

Digitaline signed Cadenza #7 in November 2005. Very good sales of the record (almost 3000 pieces) and great echoes from press, dj’s, and producers are the first step of a long and great work on Luciano’s label.

A new album: anticlockwise will be released in February 2007: eight tracks turn into an hour of a deep and psychedelic techno.

Also, they are working on remixes and new collaborations for 2007. (Motoguzzi records, Cadenza Split Compo, etc.)

Digitaline is now a regular live act, part of the label parties in some famous venues in Europe (Panormabar-Berlin, Fabrik-London, Rex-Paris, StreetParade-Zürich, Cocoon-Frankfort, Paradiso-Amsterdam).

Laps and Gregorythme also have their own (musical) life…

After Bruchstuecke #18 “Butterfly EP” in 2005, Gregorythme released the “Cannibale EP” on Cabanne’s brand new Paris based label last April. His second solo record stands somewhere else in the minimal spectrum, at a certain distance from the dance floor.

And Laps is going to release his first solo EP as the third or fourth issue of Smallville records, it will certainly be hot!!!
